BIOGRAPHY

I don’t belong to one place or one version of myself—I grow, I move, and I create along the way.

Aylin Livaneli

AYLIN LIVANELI

Aylin Livaneli is a singer, songwriter, and writer whose work is shaped by movement, curiosity, and a life lived across borders.

Originally from Turkey, she grew up in Sweden, attended high school in Paris, studied at university in London, and later lived in New York and Rome. Today, she divides her time between Barcelona, Miami, and Istanbul—continuing a life defined by motion rather than roots. This international upbringing deeply influenced her creative voice.

Surrounded by different languages, cultures, and ways of thinking from an early age, she learned to observe the world from the outside in. Rather than belonging to a single place, she developed an identity built on experience—feeling at home everywhere and nowhere at once.

Music was her first form of expression. Her songs are emotional, melodic, and intimate, shaped by a global sensibility and a strong inner world. They explore universal themes such as love, longing, freedom, and transformation—feelings that transcend geography.

Alongside music, writing has always been central to her life. With a background in literature and international relations, she turned to words as another way to explore identity, exile, and the inner self. Her writing is reflective and personal, grounded in lived experience rather than fixed definitions.

At her core, Aylin Livaneli is a modern nomad. She creates from in-between spaces, inspired by change, travel, and the quiet questions that follow you wherever you go. Her work invites reflection, emotional honesty, and the freedom to belong on your own terms.
